Road construction to be completed by November 10

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag Monday ran the "Hours of great construction" meeting to report on the ongoing construction, including that of an international airport in Khoshigt Valley in Tov province. Last week he visited the Khoshigt Valley construction site. Construction of a landing terminal, passenger hall, and control tower has been carried out as planned, the Premier said. At the barrage construction in the Tavantolgoi - Gashuunsukhait railways, some sixty percent of the work has been completed so far, said the State secretary of Road and Transportation Ministry B.Batzaya. "We are planning to complete seventy percent of the construction until November 15, before resuming in next April". The Premier requested the current contractors to end the railway construction before 2015, adding workforce and equipment with more contractors next spring. The running of a 163 km asphalt road between Dundgobi aimag and Ulaanbaatar has almost completed. The road sign marking will be finished by November 10. The construction of Sainshand - Zamyn-Uud road has completed except for its last two kilometers which will be finished by November 10. Under the "Street" project, eighteen out of 33 crossroad restorations have just completed, with remaining renovation projects to start next spring.
