Rohani deserves presidential post: cleric

TEHRAN,June 22(MNA) – The leader of this week’s Friday prayers in Tehran has said that Iran’s new president Hassan Rohani rightly deserves his post. Addressing worshipers at Tehran University campus, Ayatollah Ali Movahhedi Kermani congratulated the Iranian nation over their high turnout in the presidential election, which was held on June 14. He also added that the “political epic” created by the people left the enemies disappointed.
