Russia-Britain Back Continuation Of Iran-G5+1 Nuclear Talks

Moscow, May 29, IRNA - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his British counterpart William Hague on Monday welcomed the continuation of Iran-G5+1 nuclear talks in Moscow.
They made the remarks at a joint press conference with his British counterpart in Moscow.
Expressing satisfaction with Iran-G5+1 last round of nuclear talks in Baghdad, Lavrov said Russia does its utmost to host the next round of nuclear talks with Iran in the best possible manner in Moscow.
He said Baghdad talks paved the way for the two sides to agree on the settlement of Iran's nuclear issue through diplomatic means.
The Russian foreign minister expressed his country's full readiness to host the next round of talks.
Hague said in Baghdad talks, both sides could at least agree on a common mechanism for the settlement of Iran's nuclear standoff and expressed hope the mechanism would lead to more productive talks between the two sides.
Hague arrived in Moscow on Monday to hold talks with high ranking Russian officials on mutual and international issues especially regional developments and developments in Syria./end
