Russia expects flexibility from partners in WTO negotiations on Doha round - Economic Development Minister Ulyukayev

MOSCOW, July 7. / TASS / Russia expect flexibility from its partners in WTO negotiations on the Doha round, said Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev on Tuesday at the meeting of Ministers of Economy and Trade of BRICS countries. "We have expressed our support for negotiations under the Doha Development round. We are ready to approach these negotiations with seriousness, flexibility, and if need be creativity. However, we expect the same flexibility from other WTO members, partners in these negotiations," Ulyukaev said. According to him, the WTO Ministerial Conference that will be held in December in Nairobi, Kenya will be devoted to issues of convergence on trade and agriculture.
