Russian, Armenian prime ministers to discuss bilateral cooperation

MOSCOW, July 9. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will meet on Thursday with his Armenian counterpart Ovik Abraamyan to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, the press service of the Russian government said. The talks will focus on "topical issues of bilateral trade-and-economic relations and integration cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union," the press service said. Ten days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to discuss cooperation between the two countries. On the following day, the Armenian side initiated a telephone conversation between the two countries’ prime ministers who discussed issues of Russian-Armenian relations, including the results of a meeting of the intergovernmental economic cooperation commission held in Yerevan on June 25-26. Medvedev and Abraamyan noted the importance of promoting closer cooperation in various spheres, the press service of the Russian government said. Read more
