Russian deputy foreign minister to meet with North Korean foreign minister in Pyongyang - envoy

MOSCOW, July 19. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov will meet with North Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs Ri Yong-ho during his visit to Pyongyang, Russian Ambassador to North Korea Alexander Matsegora told reporters on Thursday, responding to a TASS question. "Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov is staying in Pyongyang, where [he] is meeting with his colleagues from the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Matsegora said. "Igor Morgulov is meeting with North Korean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choe Son-hui, who is in charge of the denuclearization issues, in particular, and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Sin Hong Chol, as well as will meet with North Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs [Ri Yong-ho.]" "The program is rather extensive, so Igor Morgulov will spend a full-time working day there," he noted. "The [sides] are discussing the situation on the Korean Peninsula, denuclearization prospects and bilateral cooperation, its development and galvanization, especially this year, when we are celebrating the 70th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations."
