Russian diplomat rejects automatic sanctions return against Iran

MOSCOW, May 27. /TASS/. The restoration of sanctions against Iran after reaching a nuclear deal with six world powers can only be possible by adopting a UN Security Council resolution, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Wednesday. "We should find a formula when a decision on the hypothetic, possible and potential restoration of sanctions can be taken only by the UN Security Council through a vote and through a new resolution," Ryabkov said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel. "There should be no automatism in this sphere or return to A level just after pressing the button, if we use a computer game terminology," the Russian diplomat stressed.
