Russian-Saudi intergovernmental commission to be held in Moscow on November 24-26

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. The Russian-Saudi intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation will convene for a session in Moscow on November 24-26, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, summing up results of talks between Russian deputy foreign minister and presidential special representative for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov and Abdurrakhman al-Rassi, the Saudi Arabian Ambassador in Moscow. The two diplomats "discussed the most topical aspects of bilateral agenda, including in the context of the meeting of the Russian-Saudi intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation due in Moscow on November 24-26," the ministry said, adding that the meeting was initiated by the Saudi diplomatic mission in Russia. "The sides exchanged views on the Middle East problems, including with the focus on the current developments in Syria," the statement said. Read more
