Russian, Vietnamese PM to discuss bilateral relations

MOSCOW, May 22. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Vietnamese colleague Nguyen Xuan Phuc aim to discuss all current issues in bilateral relations. "I would like to heartily welcome you in Moscow. I am very glad that you have decided to visit [Russia], and that this is an eventful trip, which includes visiting our country’s capital and St. Petersburg," Medvedev said. "We will discuss all current issues of our partner cooperation," he continued. The Vietnamese PM noted that he would be glad to discuss the measures on enhancing effective cooperation. "Based on our special and trusting relationship, I would like to discuss with you some very important issues of bilateral cooperation," Nguyen Xuan Phuc said. The Russian PM added that May 22 marks the start of the Vietnam-Russia and Russia-Vietnam Year in 2019 and 2020. "This is a symbol of friendship. Everything speaks in favor of your visit, even Moscow’s weather," Medvedev noted, giving his best wishes to Vietnamese officials. Read more
