RUSSIANS AWARDED MONGOLIA'S STATE PRIZES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within his working visit to the Russian Federation, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj bestowed the state prizes upon Russian people who had greatly contributed to the Mongolia-Russia cooperation, on occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony took place Saturday at Mongolia’s Embassy in Russia. By the decree of the President, the Red Flag Order of Military Merit went to Yu.N. Zavidonov, a veteran of the Khalkh River Battle and member of the Mongolian Friendship Society (MFS), the Friendship Medal--to V.Ye. Churov, a head of the Central Election Commission of Russia; to E.A. Kuzmin and I.A.Rybalchenko, vice presidents of the MFS; I.R.Utyamyshyev, the MFS’s secretary; S.P.Gorbatykh, D.Yu.Astapyenko, Ya.N.Skripkov, the MFS’s members; also to Ondar Baiyrovich Chimit-dorju, an advisor to the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Tyva in Moscow; A.I. Ledjinov, a head of the Social and Political Union of the Republic of Kalmykia in Moscow.
