Serbia's Novi Pazar city calls on Turkish businessmen to make investments
NOVI PAZAR/IZMIR (A.A) - August 2, 2011 - Deputy mayor of Serbia's Novi Pazar city Tuesday called on Turkish businessmen to invest in their city.
Faruk Suljevic, the deputy mayor of Serbia's Novi Pazar city--which is overwhelmingly Muslim, recalled tax exemption agreement between Serbia and Russia and said the agreement would bring advantages to Turkish businessmen who wanted to invest in their city.
"Turkish firms to invest in Novi Pazar can have advantageous in the Russian market thanks to this tax exemption," Suljevic told AA correspondent during Balkan tour of members of Federation of Turkey-Bosnia and Herzegovina Culture Association.
Suljevic said Serbia was giving incentives to investors and making donations to companies according to the number of their employees.
The deputy mayor said Turkish businessmen could seize lucrative cost and tax reduction opportunities, and called on Turkish firms to invest in Novi Pazar.
