SIO denies reports of Pourmohammadi’s presidential candidacy

TEHRAN,Sept.22(MNA)– The State Inspectorate Organization issued a statement on Friday dismissing the news reports claiming that the organization’s director, Mostafa Pourmohammadi, had announced his decision to run for president in the 2013 election. It said Pourmohammadi’s stance on presidential candidacy has not yet changed. Iran’s next presidential election is scheduled to be held on June 14, 2013.
