"SMART STATE" CONCEPT INTRODUCED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A governance team manager of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ts.Davaadulam Thursday made a presentation to the Parliamentary Office on this matter. Secretary-general of the Parliamentary Office B.Boldbaatar noted that state organizations have launched various measures as a support to the "From big state to smart state" initiative of the President Ts.Elbegdorj. "This meeting is to discuss matters such as how to understand the state, what the needs are for having the smart state, and our Office’s actions," he noted and urged the gathered to express opinions. Ts.Davaadulam spoke about a terminology used in reforms work, elements of administrative reforms, upgrading capabilities of state actions, increase in their work, legal governance at the state administration, international practice, and responsibility system. Head of the Presidential Office P.Tsagaan explained what the smart state is and highlighted a role of the Parliamentary Office in entering the smart state.
