Soltanieh Confirms Iran, IAEA To Hold Talks In December
Vienna, Nov 13, IRNA – Iran's permanent envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ali-Asghar Soltanieh, has confirmed that Iran and the IAEA will hold new round of talks.
“The IAEA and Iran have agreed to hold further talks on 13 December in Tehran,” IAEA spokesperson Gill Tudor said.
“The aim is to conclude the structured approach to resolving outstanding issues related to Iran’s nuclear program,” she said.
The nuclear agency said it hoped the talks in Tehran would produce an agreement that would allow it to resume an investigation into Iran’s nuclear activities.
The IAEA’s talks with Iran are separate from Tehran’s nuclear discussions with six world powers, the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France, and Germany.
The last meeting between Iran and the IAEA took place in August but failed to make progress.
Satellite cameras of the agency are installed on all Iranian nuclear sites monitoring them 24 hours and sending pictures to its Vienna headquarters from the activities in the sites.'
The agency insists to inspect Iranian military site, Parchin, but, Iran is refusing access to the agency declaring that the military site has nothing to do with the nuclear program, bringing security and protocol reasons to refuse such an access.
The Agency has confirmed non-diversion of Iranian nuclear program, but, under pressure from the White House has focused on the false information fabricated by Washington for political goals./end
