South Korea’s president-elect calls Iran an important partner

TEHRAN,Jan.19(MNA) – The president-elect of South Korea, Park Geun-hye said that Iran is an important partner for South Korea. “Iran is one of our important partners in the Middle East, and maintaining and enhancing ties with Tehran is of high importance to us,” Park stated during a meeting with the Iranian ambassador to Seoul, Ahmad Masoumifar, on Thursday.
