Spain PM Condoles Iranian Gov’t On Deadly Quakes

Madrid, Aug 14, IRNA - Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy Tuesday condoled Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on deadly quakes which hit northwestern province of East Azarbaijan. In a message, Rajoy expressed sympathy with the Iranian government and nation on the sad event and said his country is ready to offer necessary aid to the victims. Two strong earthquakes leveled villages and damaged homes in northwestern Iran on Saturday, killing at least 300 people and injuring more than 2,000 others./end
