SPEAKER RECEIVED BY SOUTH KOREA’S PRESIDENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Paying an official visit to the Republic of Korea, the Speaker of parliament Z.Enkhbold was received Friday by Ms Park Geun-hye, the President of the country. Ms Park underlined that the visit of Mongolia’s top legislator has a great importance for the Mongolia-S.Korea relations, and said she is happy with the close cooperation between the two countries. The Speaker thanked Ms Park for the warm audience and conveyed to her greetings of the Mongolian President. He said the bilateral relations have been developing in all fields at the comprehensive partnership level, then emphasized a vital role of high-level mutual visits and political talks in expanding of the bilateral cooperation, and noted that the 25th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations will be celebrated in 2015. Statistics shows that some 120 thousand Mongolians visit South Korea every year, "this is an expression of how the cooperation is widening in all fields," Mr Enkhbold said. After this the dignitaries exchanged views on easing visas to South Korea and on social-economic issues. Present at the meeting were also R.Burmaa, a head of the parliamentary Standing committee on petitions; D.Sarangerel and O.Baasankhuu MPs; B.Ganbold, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Korea.
