Speaker receives Ambassador of Vietnam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Wednesday met Mr Fan Dang Duong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia. The Speaker congratulated Mr Fan on presenting his diplomatic credentials to the Mongolian President, and wished him successes. Mongolia and Vietnam have friendly traditional relations, the Speaker noted and said he is pleased with intensifying bilateral ties and cooperation and increasing high-level meetings. He said the state visit of Mongolia’s President to Vietnam paid last year significantly contributed to expanding and strengthening of the friendly ties and collaboration, and brought the economic cooperation into a newer level. Mongolia wants to activate political talks in all levels with Vietnam, our traditional partner in Southeast Asia, also to widen the cooperation in economics, trade, investments, agriculture, education, culture, labor relations, in defense and law enforcement, and to fortify the ties at international and regional arenas. In response, Mr Fan expressed satisfaction with arriving in Mongolia after 11 years and thanked the Speaker for the audience. He hoped that the top legislator of Mongolia and MPs will support him within the three-year office term.
