Speaker Z.Enkhbold and Polish Ambassador meet

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold received the Ambassador of Poland to Mongolia Mr Michal Labenda, on November 16. The Speaker expressed a satisfaction with the ever-growing political interaction between Poland and Mongolia, thanks to the intensified inter-parliamentary relations, and talked about his visit to Poland which took place last March. He noted that Mongolia and its Third neighbor and partner in Europe–Poland are marking the 65th anniversary of their diplomatic ties this year. In response, Mr Labenda thanked the Speaker for his time and gave information about the latest elections in Poland. Then, the sides exchanged opinions on the cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy and mining. Mr Enkhbold underlined that Mongolia and Poland have been mobilizing successful cooperation in educational sphere, and expressed a gratitude to Poland’s government for practical assistance in sending Mongolian students to the Polish universities. He also asked to promote the activities of Mongol Studies Department at the University of Warsaw, one of key centers of Mongol studies in Europe. Present at the meeting were also L.Bold MP and other related officials.
