STANDING COMMITTEE DISCUSSES A REDRAFT OF PETROLEUM LAW

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Standing Committee on Economics continued a first discussion of a new wording of the petroleum law and accompanying it documents on Wednesday morning. Considering that there are two articles similar in their content, the Committee agreed to remove an article stating that a contractor shall be in charge of costs related to goods transportation and shall include those costs in their action plans for mineral deposit activities. The Committee agreed to discuss again the draft after a parliamentary session on Wednesday.
