Standing committee head works in province
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During his working tour to Bayankhongor aimag last weekend, the head of the parliamentary Standing committee on justice D.Ganbat informed the local inhabitants on laws and resolutions passed by the 2015 autumn session of parliament and other laws being discussed.
He also addressed a training attended by experts on children protection to highlight some related laws. He said parliament is considering several important bill concerning children and family, hoping that these bills will be adopted soon. “It is vital for you to be informed all the time about the laws on combating family violence, on family, on children protection and their rights, you must propagandize these laws everywhere," he told them.
Ganbat added that the law on crime reflects children-related issues crystal clear, and underlined that the experts and other staffers who treats children must behave themselves as psychologists.
After this D.Ganbat attended an opening of a technical college in the aimag’s center, a former accredited vocational training center. Founded in 1963, this VTC trained young people in 14 professions such as handcrafts, electricians, plumbers and hairdressers, now that it has become the technical college, it will issue diplomas, said the VTC leader.
Upon leaving the province, the Standing committee head gave the President’s gifts and greetings to centenarians--Kh.Dorjdulam, G.Dumbaa, Sh.Dorjpalam and Ch.Tsend.
