State Foreign Affairs Minister receives French, German, Italian ambassadors

Manama: March 26 – (BNA): Minister of State for Information Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Buainain met the ambassadors of Italy, Alberto Vecchi, France, Christian Testot, and Germany, Sabine Taufmann. The Minister praised the level of the relations between their countries and Bahrain and expressed confidence Italy's presidency of the European Union (EU) starting in July would bolster ties and cooperation between the Kingdom and the EU states. The ambassadors stressed the interest of their capitals in promoting relations with Bahrain and asserted that Italy’s EU presidency would boost cooperation with the Kingdom. (IY)
