Supreme Leader’s representatives honor disabled war veterans

TEHRAN,June 25(MNA) - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday sent six delegations to honor disabled war veterans and their families based in the capital Tehran and the holy city of Mashhad. The delegations were sent on the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Abbas (AS), which is Disabled War Veterans’ Day in Iran. Leader’s representatives talked to the war veterans and asked about their problems, particularly in regard to the medical treatment they receive, and praised them for the tremendous sacrifices they made during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
