Supreme Leader grants clemency to 130 prisoners convicted of security-related offences

TEHRAN,Aug.16(MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei granted amnesty to 130 convicts who had committed security-related offences, the Tehran prosecutor general announced on Tuesday. In a decree issued on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, the Leader also reduced the sentences of a number of security prisoners, Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said.
