Syria to replace its ambassador to Turkey

DAMASCUS (A.A) - 26.05.2011 - Syria will replace its ambassador to Turkey, diplomatic sources said on Thursday.
Syria will name Abdullah Dardari, former Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, as the new ambassador in Ankara, sources told the AA.
Syrian government has informed Ankara about the replacement and is now expecting a response. 
Syria's current ambassador is Nidal Kabalan, a long-time media executive, who was the head of Channel 2 of the Syrian TV network prior to his post in Ankara.
