Tehran condemns terrorist attack on Iranian pilgrims in Iraq

TEHRAN,June 9(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Araqchi on Saturday condemned the recent terrorist attack on Iranian pilgrims in Iraq, saying that Tehran would pursue the matter through legal channels given that the Iraqi government was responsible for protecting Iranian pilgrims. According to AP, suicide attackers on Friday rammed car bombs into a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims and into a police checkpoint west of Baghdad, killing 19 people in all.
