Tehran mayor calls ‘principlist coalition’ a wise move

TEHRAN,Jan.31(MNA) – Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Wednesday that the formation of the three-member coalition of principlists in the run-up to the presidential election is a wise and popular move which will serve national interests rather than political ones. Qalibaf, a possible candidate in the June presidential election, is a member of the three-member coalition which also includes former foreign minister Ali Akbar Velayati and sitting MP Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel.
