Tehran, Muscat enjoy excellent relations: Omani official

GURGAON, India,Nov.7(MNA) – Iran and Oman enjoy excellent relations and are getting closer to each other day by day, according to Talib bin Miran al-Raisi, the head of the economic sector of the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman. He made the remarks during an interview with the Tehran Times correspondent at Oberoi Hotel, Gurgaon, Haryana, India, on November 2, on the sidelines of the 12th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Indian Ocean Rim-Association for Regional Cooperation, which was held on the same day. “We have excellent relationship with Iran. Of course, Iran is our very close neighbor, and we have long history and tradition among the people of the two countries,” the Omani official stated. He added, “So, we hope that the relationship will continue to be strengthened in the future. We don’t have any obstacle. We are getting closer and closer together every day.”
