Tehran welcomes British court ruling in favor of former Iranian diplomat

TEHRAN,Nov.29(MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday welcomed a British High Court ruling in favor of former Iranian diplomat Nosratollah Tajik who has been under house arrest in Britain since six years ago under a U.S. allegation that he had tried to ship nigh vision cameras to Iran. “Despite a delay of six years the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the ruling issued by the court and considers it a move in the right direction,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said. Mehmanparast expressed hope that Tajik would return to Iran soon to be reunited with his family.
