Terrorists Target Syrian Scientists : Minister

Damascus, June 3, IRNA – Syriaˈs Minister of Higher Education Mohammad Yahya Muˈala said here Monday the Zionist-backed and US-led terrorists target Syrian scientists, university professors and researches. Speaking to IRNA, Muˈala asserted that threatening and murdering the Syrian university professors and scientists are aimed at damaging the countryˈs scientific bodies. Over 70 Syrian scholars and scientists have been killed or wounded in the terroristsˈ war against the Syrian nation in the past few years, he said. The Syrian minister further announced that buildings of some 12 universities have been damaged or destroyed in the recent clashes./end
