Anong Paijitprapapon, Director of the Bureau of Logistics of, under the Ministry of Industry's Department of Primary Industries and Mines, assessed, meanwhile, that the Thai government's
new 2-trillion-baht rail projects should cut national logistic costs, from 15.2 per cent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2011 or 11 trillion baht to 12 per cent of the GDP, over the next five years or within 2017, pointing out if the cost reduction was achieved, national capabilities would further improve then.
