BANGKOK, Jan 19 (TNA) -- A representative of the United Nations met Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and promised the UN would seriously support Thailand in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Deputy government spokesman Werachon Sukondhapatipak quoted the prime minister as saying that Thailand and the UN would continue to support each other in work for SDGs.
“Both sides agree with the importance of reaching SDGs which should be implemented by all organisations and general people,” Lt Gen Werachon said.
According to Lt Gen Werachon, Ms Boyd said she enjoyed cooperating with Thai organisations and promised to support local development projects. She also praised Thailand for following the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy guideline of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
