There are no political executions in Iran: Iranian judiciary chief

TEHRAN,April 25(MNA) – No political execution is taking place in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Wednesday. There are no political executions in Iran and only those who have engaged in an armed confrontation with the system are being executed, the Judiciary chief said at a meeting with a number of senior judicial officials in Tehran. Executions are mostly conducted for major drug dealers, he added.
