There is an extremist current seeking to follow wrong path of past 8 years: Iran`s Rafsanjani

TEHRAN,June 12(MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said that an “extremist” and “irresponsible” current is seeking to follow the wrong path taken over the past eight years. “We should prove our rightfulness in the international arena through constructive interaction without going to extremes according to our national interests and mend and improve our relations with the outside world,” Rafsanjani said on Tuesday, adding that he was optimistic about Friday’s presidential election.
