Three soums to be connected to central electricity system

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ D.Ganbat MP Monday met with officials of the Energy Ministry, and a director of Viva Land LLC B.Battogtokh to talk about soum energy projects planned. Under a Government funding of four billion togrog, a contractor Oigon Nuur Co of Mongolia has launched a building project of 127 km electric lines and substations in the southwestern province of Bayankhongor. So far, almost 80 percent of the project has been completed, an official said. “The project was planned to be completed by now; however, some delays have occurred in the customs and building material transportation, leaving it to the next year”. At the meeting D.Ganbat MP told the officials to finish the project by 20 January, 2014.
