Tokyo seeking to maintain current trade ties with Iran: Japanese envoy

TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) – Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Kinchi Komano said that his country plans to maintain the present level of economic and trade relations with Iran despite the sanctions imposed against the Islamic Republic. He said that although the Western sanctions imposed on Tehran make it difficult to increase the volume of bilateral trade, Japan tries to maintain its economic ties with Iran.
