Speaking to the Munich-based BR broadcasting network, Christian Hacke emphasized Iran's nuclear program was 'a matter of national pride and prestige.' The former University of Bonn professor made clear Iran was 'an important partner' for Germany, citing Iran's vast energy resources. He warned against the western sanction strategy against Tehran over its nuclear policy, saying more focus should be placed again on diplomatic means.
