Torsarkissian opts for electoral law that ensures proper representation

NNA - Member of Parliament, Serge Torsarkissian, on Friday pushed for a new electoral law that ensures fair and proper representation amongst all the Lebanese. Interviewed by the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker also explained that the main hurdle obstructing the formation of a new Lebanese cabinet was the absence of trust between political factions and the absence of a unified vision among them. However, the lawmaker saw in the election of President Michel Aoun "a gigantic national step after two and a half years of paralysis."
