NNA - "Future" bloc highlighted the paramount importance of the visit by President of the Republic General Michel Aoun and his accompanying delegation to Saudi Arabia and Qatar in light of its positive contribution to restoring fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, in particular, and the Gulf and Arab countries, in general. "The visit at this particular time comes at an appropriate moment in the interest of Lebanon and the Lebanese at the various levels, and therefore there is a need to build on such a visit and expand it towards other Gulf countries and Egypt," Future bloc said in a statement in the wake of its weekly meeting on Tuesday at the Central House, chaired by former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora. The bloc discussed the overall situation on the local arena. Future bloc categorically called on the government to commence without any delay in working on the preparation of the general budget for 2017, and to focus on following up on the completion of the new electoral law, in a bid to hold timely parliamentary elections on the basis of the majority and proportional mixed law, in accordance with the formula put forward by the bloc in conjunction with the Democratic Gathering and the Lebanese Forces. =====================
