Turkey's EU minister leaves for the Netherlands
ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish State Minister % Chief Negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis left for the Netherlands on Friday.
Within the scope of his two-day visit, Bagis will hold meetings with Dutch Minister for European Affairs Ben Knapen, Senate President Rene van der Linden and Foreign Minister Uri Rosenthal in The Hague today.
After meeting Ahmet Uzumcu, Director-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Bagis will proceed to Amsterdam and attend "Turkey: The Missing Star" event.
On Saturday, Bagis will attend breakfast at Netherlands office of the Union for European Turkish Democrats (UETD), and then deliver a speech at a conference on "Turkey-EU Relations and the Netherlands" which will be organized by the Netherlands Turkish Businessmen's Association.
Bagis will participate in a meeting of German Marshall Fund, an international think-tank organization, and return to Turkey the same day.
