Turkey's foreign minister in Germany for informal NATO ministerial meeting

BERLIN (A.A) - 14.04.2011 - Turkey's foreign minister arrived in Berlin, Germany on Thursday for an informal NATO ministerial meeting.
Ahmet Davutoglu will attend informal NATO ministerial meeting at the German Foreign Ministry.
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Germany was a strong ally, and thanked the country for its contributions to Afghanistan and Kosovo. 
Rasmussen also said Afghanistan, and developments in Libya would be taken up in Friday's NATO-Georgia Commission, NATO-Ukraine Commission, NATO-Russian Council meetings.
The foreign ministers of NATO's 28 nations and over 20 partner countries have gathered in Berlin for talks covering issues ranging from operations over Libya to NATO's relationship with its partners.
This is the first meeting of foreign ministers since NATO leaders approved the Alliance's new Strategic Concept at a summit in Lisbon in November. The meeting showcases NATO's role in working with partners to find cooperative solutions to common threats.
