Turkey's project on development of national war jet to begin

ANKARA (A.A) - August 23, 2011 - Turkey's Undersecretariat of Defense Industry and Turkish Aerospace Industries Company (TAI) will sign an agreement to begin a project on the development of a national war jet.
The national war jet project will bring together the whole Turkish defense industry and companies like Havelsan, Roketsan and Aselsan.
TAI will be the leading company in the national war jet project.
Turkey will begin manufacturing jet engines as of 2015.
