Turkish Cypriot president to hold talks with EU officials in Brussels
LEFKOSA (A.A) - July 11, 2011 - The Turkish Cypriot president will travel to the Belgian capital of Brussels on Tuesday to hold a series of talks with senior officials from the European Union (EU).
As part of the visit, President Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is scheduled to meet European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and several other EU officials.
He will return to TRNC on July 15.
Last week, Eroglu attended a three-way meeting in Geneva, Switzerland with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias under UN-sponsored Cyprus reunification talks.
