Turkish Cypriot students at summer training in foreign countries

ROME (A.A) - August 10, 2011 - A group of Turkish Cypriot university students are participating in summer training programs under a newly-launched initiative by the Turkish Cypriot Foreign Ministry.
Second and third grade university students from international relations departments at Turkish Cypriot universities are for the first time taking a month-long training program this year in London, Brussels, Geneva, Ankara and Baku.
"They are learning at first hand how important and difficult it is to promote the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the international arena. They see how hard we struggle," Novber Ferit Vechi, TRNC's Rome representative, told the Anadolu Agency on Wednesday.
Vechi said the training program included frequent visits to high level state offices, embassies, foreign press centers,  as well as senates.
