Turkish Cypriots to conduct census this year
LEFKOSA (A.A)- 30.03.2011 - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, or TRNC, will conduct a population census in 2011, Turkish Cypriot premier said on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk said TRNC's State Planning Organization has started works on the planned census. He said the method would be determined later.
Irsen Kucuk also said that population count would be open for observers from United Nations and European Union.
