Turkish foreign minister meets EU high representative
LONDON (A.A) - 29.03.2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, in London on Tuesday.
Davutoglu is currently in London to attend an international conference on the future of Libya.
During the meeting, which was closed to press, Ashton told Davutoglu that they wanted to work closely with Arab Union, African Union and Turkey regarding the Libya issue.
Davutoglu will hold several bilateral meetings within the scope of Libya conference.
Meanwhile, Turkey has been working with the U.S. on a paper about Libya for a week. The paper is about a political process which can be shaped in the future period in Libya as well as UN Security Council's resolution No. 1973.
