Turkish PM Erdogan meets Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani
NAJAF (A.A) - 29.03.2011 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani, Iraqi-based Shiism's highest ranking cleric in the Middle East, in Najaf, Iraq on Tuesday.
The meeting at Sistani's residence lasted one hour.
The meeting between Erdogan and Sistani was also attended by Turkish State Minister Zafer Caglayan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, and several other Turkish dignitaries.
