Turkish PM meets Iraqi counterpart in Baghdad
BAGHDAD (A.A) - 28.03.2011 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who embarked on a two-day formal visit to Iraq on Monday, met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki in Baghdad.
The meeting between Erdogan and Maliki takes place at Maliki's office in the Green Zone, a heavily guarded area in central Baghdad.
The two premiers are having a tete-a-tete meeting and they will also co-chair a meeting of delegations.
Erdogan and Maliki will appear at a joint press conference following the meetings.
