Two Iranian hopefuls withdraw presidential candidacy

TEHRAN,May 21(MNA) – Iran`s MP Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard on Monday withdrew his candidacy for Iran’s June 14 presidential election. A number of Iranian MPs had previously asked the first deputy speaker of the parliament to withdraw from the election. Former Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast also announced on Sunday that he had decided to quit the presidential race.
