UAE condemns terrorist armed attack on Jau centre in Bahrain.

ABU DHABI, 1st January, 2017 (WAM)-- The UAE has condemned the terrorist armed attack on the Jau Reform and Rehabilitation Centre in Bahrain that resulted in the martyrdom of a policeman, while confronting the terrorist elements, and the escape of inmates convicted with terrorist crimes. In a statement, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, expressed the UAE's strong denunciation and condemnation of this heinous terrorist act that targeted the lives of safe and innocent people and sought to undermine security in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He expressed the UAE's solidarity with, and backing for Bahrain in any measures that the Kingdom takes to counter such cowardly acts. He further expressed complete confidence that such terrorist acts will not deter the Government and people of Bahrain from continuing progress to achieve stability in the Kingdom and counter desperate violent and subversive attempts.
